Key Responsibilities

• Ensure environmental compliance across the project portfolio in Chile.
• Utilize Chilean environmental reporting systems (e.g., Ventanilla Única, Sistema de Seguimiento Ambiental).
• Analyze environmental and social data to prepare comprehensive ESG and development reports.
• Stay informed on ESG trends, permitting processes, and regulations within Chile.
• Manage necessary permits with authorities for ongoing and future projects.
• Conduct site visits and meetings with stakeholders across Chile.

Requirements

• Degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Natural Resources Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in environmental compliance and permitting in Chile.
• Familiarity with ESG reporting tools and systems (SEIA (Sistema de Evaluación de Impacto Ambiental))
• Knowledge of ESG frameworks (e.g., IFC Performance Standards, GRI, SASB).
• Strong communication, risk management, teamwork, conflict resolution, and leadership skills.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Familiarity with environmental management systems (ISO 14001) and ESG reporting tools.
• Driver's license (B Class)
• Availability to Travel to sites.
